Questions and Answers
Lab.40 offers beneficiaries free consulting, training, specialized guidance, appropriate infrastructure, networking and skills development, in order for new ideas to become viable businesses.
Step 1: Application - Carefully read the eligibility criteria, prepare the necessary documents and submit your application, filling in the relevant platform / form, before the deadline.
Step 2: Evaluation - Your application will be evaluated by the committee and if you are deemed suitable you will be invited for an interview.
Step 3: Pre-acceleration - Once you join the program, you start an intensive one-month plan with pre-training and consulting meetings (identifying a sustainable market-idea audience) with the participation of various mentors in order to frame the program with the best possible experience.
Step 4: Acceleration - Those teams that prove the existence of a market for their idea and are able to make changes / turns (pivot) in their business, are promoted to acceleration, gaining access to seminars, consulting guidance, access to Lab.40 facilities, and networking opportunities.
Step 5: Complete - Complete the program, compete for the final prizes / free support at the incubator facility and become an official member of the Lab.40 community.
The following groups are eligible to participate:
- -Men / Women individually or in groups (ideally between 25-45 years old), tertiary graduates or holders of specialization, who wish to develop start-ups.
- -Unemployed. For the unemployed, they must be unemployed, registered in the OAED unemployment register with an active unemployment card.
- -Self-employed (self-employment documentation).
Eligible candidates, in order to secure a place in the program, must be young technology teams with a structured business idea to implement. If you meet the criteria and join the program, you are required to commit to the obligations of the program. This commitment includes several weekly attendances at Lab.40 facilities, attendance / participation in seminars / workshops and events you are invited to, time to work with mentors and the enthusiasm to work with the rest of the program.
Throughout the program, which runs on a pilot basis for 2 years (4 acceleration cycles), eligible beneficiaries are free of charge.
Each beneficiary (even if they are part of a group) has the right to participate in only one acceleration cycle.
